Hi scrazy

Your circiut have a gain of about x70, that is way too much, and that is because you have shortend the sources. And you have about 30 Volt bias across R5 and R8, not that it matters in this case, but they arn't really needed. But if you want to lover the negatieve rail voltage to say 8v you have to remoove them. In order to get less gain you need some resistance between the sources to get x10 or something like that.


The scematic could look like the one I have attached.

If you want to reduce noise a bit, consider putting a small to moderate sized electrolytic across the Zener. It's not really necessary, but it's a cheap, easy way to improve the circuit. The cap need not be a serious audiophile-grade part, as the voltage across it is DC.
