Hello you guys,
have build a little 2-Stage Aleph approx. 10 Watt as a horn driver. Sound is very pleasent, but the noise is to high. Would it be a good idea to change the first diffamp to a matched J-fet pair or have you other suggestions. Reinhard from Germany |

It would be an excellent idea. Try 2SJ74's or better,
2SJ109 matched pairs. They should drop right in, but you might consider dropping the bias current by half. |

Hello NP,
thanks a lot for your comments, that was what I wish to hear. I will try 2SK389 as diffamp and built the amp upside down with P-Channel outputs. Reinhard from Germany |
