Aleph 5 component wattage
I am planning to build Aleph 5 but all I've got is the schematics from "Aleph 5 Service Manual."
Yes, the manual has all the component values, but what about the resistor wattage? Where can I get the detail of building this DIY? I searched pages of www.passdiy.com, but can find Aleph 5 project. Thanks guys!

Use "search" and check the forum for Aleph5. You will not believe the amount of info you'll get.

Aside from that, it's good practice to trace the current flow through the circuit and calculate the wattage values yourself. By the time you're done, you'll be quite familiar with the circuit. Not a bad thing.

I think you're right, GRollins. I guess I need to calculate it by myself. For HPotter, I did search this forum, but no luck...

I guess you didn't search long enough
 It's about Aleph2 but it relates to Aleph5 as well: Aleph 2 Power R

The resistors in the Alephs are all 1/4 watt RN55D as
a standard except for values less than a couple ohms, and those are 3 watt metal film. |
