Hello
Im a newbie at this forum and this is my first question: I am building a BOZ with the PASS PCB. I have got a 2X33V transformer leftover from another project. What changes shall i make to use it in the BOZ? Boergars |

As your rails will be a bit higher than in the article the power dissipation of Q1 will also be slightly bigger.
Cause the voltage might be near 95V you have to watch C1 and itīs voltage rating but that should still be OK. You can also get the rails down a bit by putting a resistor in line with the +-terminal of the rectifier (after C1). A value of 50-100Ohm and a 2W rating should be OK. Itīll get the rails down about 4-8V (50-100Ohm). If you now put another cap after your added resistor youīll have some additional RC-filtering which should be very fine.
