So far all the data is on sealed boxes of various sizes, but
Chris and Matt should finish the horns next week, and we are
also planning on including the Lowther Medallion enclosures
as rear loaded horn examples. I expect rear horn loading to
require some adjustment of the RC parallel loading networks,
but otherwise no problems.

No, I mean as compared sealed enclosures. These horns are
rear loaded.

So I'm curious -- why the new company name/badge? Will these be at a different level than the passlabs amps?

Or are they so radically different in design philosophy, you didn't want it associated with the other Pass Amps? Hmm.. Now I'm really curious!

Maybe they're tube based!?!?! I know -- the moderators/Mr. Pass may kick me off for blasphemy and take away my priviledge to diy his designs

I do not like expensive anymore, have other things that take all my coins.
Guess the others solid state diy amps will have to suffice for now. But it is a great idea. Most users of high efficiency speakers are dedicated lovers of small tube amps. I have found the sound can be bettered with a low powered solid state amp. The Mini A MikeW lent me is convincing proof of that.

I've been fooling around with high efficiency / full range speakers
for quite a while, and I think there are two good reasons for this.

1) For some reason, little amps tend to sound better at low levels than big amps.

2) These kinds of speakers usually don't sound their best with high damping factors.

ok, apparently this site blocks it out too, so... start with the 5th letter and its a 4 letter word
