Remote Control User Interface

Hello DIYers:

My name is Alex, I want to build an Aleph P 1.7, I have the following questions.

Can I use an Volume Selection that it is not the originally Aleph P volume Control? And What about the Input Select Control?

Also I want to know if there is an Remote Control User Interface equivalent to the Apox IR1 or similar for compare it an choose the better or there is an Control DIY?.

Finally I can use the New Remote Control User Interface with the original Aleph P Volume Control and Input Select?
