Am wondering which of whole Aleph series amplifiers sounds best. The power doesn't really matter. The only thing is sound.
All opinions are welcome. |

The later Aleph 60 and 30 are regards as being the best sonically.
Do a search on these and read the manuals...you'll see why. I recall hearing a Aleph 60 at Foresthill...Nice. Ian |

I would love to hear a pair of Aleph 0's.
The Aleph 3 is very special with the right speakers. The Aleph 2 is the all around MVP. Excellent amps that are still special, even though they are no longer the bleeding edge of Pass Labs production. The X's and XA's will be fun to pick up when they move down the chain Come on Mr. Pass! Time for the next best thing!!! |

I have pretty much scrapped building any X amps for now as my 2's are still hard to beat, especially after adding the chokes to the PSU. I did build a "stock" pair of X amps and although they sound very nice they are not enough of an improvement over my 2's for me to switch over and build a large pair.
