Hi,
I read alot about changing the bias in the Alephs. I don't uderstand one pretty stupid thing. What does "50%-50% ac current gain means" or "50% costant current source gain"? 50% of what? How and where do I measure it? I know it's pretty stupid question for somebody but please enlighten me. |

A simple description of adjusting the aleph current source is in the Zen V2 article at http://www.passdiy.com/projects/zenv2-1.htm
For the Zen amp, this means that the AC current through the resistor attached to the drain of the CCS MOSFET is 1/2 of the AC current delivered throught the output resistors. Metalman |
