Hi,
I have the opportunity to have very low prices for a group buy of IRFP240 from International Rectifier ( not clones) . The prices are low because it is planned for a 400 or 1000 pieces buy , and would be "franco de port" for the french territory , versus a minimum 100 euros order.( for each diyer ) If you are interested ! contact me by e-mail to have the prices thanks !!! Best regards Anael

Well , no one interested ?
Kind of bizarre ... So I will take 200 pieces for myself ; Jean Claude wants 200 pieces too so we 'll have a 0,90 euro pc for those 400 I can't believe nobody interested at such low prices !!! If we go to 1000 pc the price drops to 0,85 euro Regards Anael

Aheem...I dont know if you have noticed that all the people building Alep-X have bought IRFP 044 less than a week ago, and the rest of us havnt got use for much more than 20 mosfets, since all the other passdiy amps that those would be usefull for are based on 1 or 2 fets....3 including the CCS fet. The point of a group buy is pretty much for people to be able to get a limited number for a reasonable price. Not to get 100 pcs. For 100 pcs anybody can get them for a reasonable price in any european country, so why bother with the hassle of a group buy and the extra expence for shipping from france?? Dont get me wrong, its nice when people are offering a group buy, your offer is just not of much use to most of us i guess, with your minimum order of 111 fets. Magura

This is why it was said "for french diyers" because there won't be any shipping charge in France
We maybe are 3 now on the trip and we need a great number of 240s in order to match them precisely My futur amp will use 32 * IRFP240 at 8A bias and 30-35V supplies That is why I need 64 for the stereo , and hope to find groups of 8 matched to 0,01V Best regards Anael

Hi Seve
If you are ready to pay shipping cost then it's OK !!! The "free from shipping costs" was applicable to France only ![]() How many of these would you like to get ? ![]() At such a low price , even with shipping it is always worth ... Regards anael

Not everybody checks in every day on the forum. Maybe you should wait for a week or so.
I am already supplied with 40 pcs, (already matched by the supplier) otherwise I sure would be interested. Grtz Jojo |

Hi Anael,
I will probably be needing 100. I just have a few more questions before joining the group buy. 1. How much do you think the shipping cost will be to Denmark? 2. How about payment do you accept paypal (ofcourse I will pay the fees)? 3. What about including some IRF9610? Regards Martin |

Arrrgg , I can see it is really the Passlabs forums here
3)For the 9610s , I am sorry I can't supply them Seve , I've just seen your reply ! Sorry ! These days have been hard working on the non oversampling DAC project ... days pass so quickly that I almost forget to eat ... 1) Will depend on the weight . ordinary they are by 25 , so 25*4 ... 2) Payment : I have not thought about the question for now . I have a paypal account but I never made it work that direction (I always used to buy things ) but probably the best choice . So we are at 500 pieces for now . Come on , if we get to 1000 the price will go down...!!! Regards Anael

Hi Anaël,
May I be bold enough to ask why do you need such huge quantities of Fets ? Just for the record, I ordered 35 fets for my AX and was able to get 16 mosfets matched (4 "quadruplets") both on Vgs and transconductance. Maybe I was just lucky By the way, your offer is quite nice for french DIYers, and (if memory serves) you're the first french person to give such an opportunity to our french community of audioholics. Is your heaven sent supplier limited to this type of device, or could we plan some other nice offers in the future (for japanese fets or bjts, for example Thanks
