I'm trying to select a new power amplifier for my Thiel 2.4s. Presently running an Aesthetix Janus preamp which I love but moving on from an Aesthetix Atlas power amp to something better. Options are to continue to use the Janus as the Pre, and go with the XA30.8 as the power amp. Second option would be to go the route of one of the Pass Integrateds which incorporate the xa power sides. Would the Janus as the Pre (tubed) and the XA30.8 be a good combination? Opinions? Alternatives?

looking at pictures of your preamp ... general ZM ranting...... it seems nobody in industry thinks that both simple and tube can go in one sentence , let alone in one (designer's) head ?
