Considering to purchase Pass Labs XA amps to drive Thiel CS3.6 speakers.
1. Is a XA100.5 enough?
2. If not, is the XA160.5 enough?
3. Or I should go with a X350.5 (some loss in sound quality)?

The rest of my system includes ARC Ref 2 tube preamp, Transparent Ref XL V interconnects, ARC CD3, VPI/SMEV turntable.

Thanks in Advance

XA100/XA60 is enough.

Actually, the original Aleph 0 was voiced on 3.6's, and did a nice job.

That is a very interesting fact. Thiels were all the rage in the 1980s. I had a friend with a set and I liked them. I liked a different friend's Martin Logan Monolith speakers more, though. Another different friend had Acoustat Monitor X with the direct drive tube amps. The 80s were a fun time for a budding audiophool.
