I will use them if they come with stuff. I used to use them for audio input. But lately find them flakey - they can loosen. So now, I prefer JST PCB pin terminals with snap locking shells for signal (or small stuff like headphone out).

Like this headphone amp. The PSU already had 3screw terminal block output so I used that.

Another all JST connector headphone amp. This one is a zero global feedback Class A THAT1646 buffer amp (designed by Wayne Kirkland and layout by Prasi). It sounds very nice and is the lowest distortion amp I have ever measured. It's below my Focusrite's noise floor of -130dB.

Those look like forks not spades

Work fine for screw terminal blocks though.
