For the higher powered Alephs, I would strongly advise against using the 140 or 044 as the voltage rating is not sufficient to allow a satisfactory safety margin. Either 240's or 244's are fine for the job.

2 x 240's in parallel are better than 1 x 250
as has been said before, your best to stick to the schematic and use 240's or 244's either are fine |
