Moved from AX building thread as it has nothing to do with building an Aleph X
pinkmouse So now iŽm here drifting off topic again but this seems like a good thread for this message. As im taking my Hurricane C speaker out of production ( lack of time not market ) i will supply design, drawings and x-over schematic for anyone interested. This speaker makes a good partner for Zens and alike, actually it makes a 300B single end amp feel like a power station. Was going to attach owners manual but realized that four pages in swedish and a coupple of photos wonŽt do much good here iŽll translate and start a new thread under speakers tomorrow

Allright, briefly: Its a vented cabinet, a slightly different approach to cabinet design and port. Production speakers use a Gamma LA1231 12" alnico up to 120 Hz, a 5" Chinese oem bass/mid with woven kevlar cone extensively modified in production, working in company with the Gamma but up to 4000Hz where an Audax titanium dome takes over, the Audax is modified with drilled through polepice and punctured dome. The Gamma can be substituted by units from JBL and Altech but for the money....
The 5" and tweeter are easily substituted according to taste. Now the cat is making a racket about food, after that iŽll get started on translating the "sales brochure" and drawings.
