D1 I/V stage.....IRF510 or IRF610 ++

After reading around the forum I am sitting with the impression that most of you that have heard both types (510/610) prefer IRF510.....so that should make it a good candidate for "my" current project including the D1 IV-stage.

BUT....there are several different vendors of theese transistors, which one should I prefer ?
As far as I have found there are:
FAIR (Fairchild)
ISIL (?)
and
IR (International Rectifiers ?)

....or is this of no matter ????

I used GE also for Irf510 with BOSOZ and I remember I liked they more than Irf610.

But I am not sure : GE= general eletric?

The reason for potentially choosing a 510 in most such
cases would be the generally higher transconductance
of the 510. This will vary from part to part and mfr to mfr.
