Default XA-100 with B&W 802

I'm looking to buy a pair of XA-100 for my 802d. Is this a wise move? Are the XA-100's to old? If that's possible.

Awesome I was hoping you would reply Mr. Pass. And thank you Zen it's ok to be biased ! What model would be the three channel counter part?

I currently have xpa-1 Emotiva so looking forward to the upgrade

So performance base I will get good reproduction for movies and music correct?

Oh sorry lol! I was thinking about my specific set up. 5.1. Two mono and one 3 ch (center, and two rears).

Can the design plates in the front of the amo be removed? Like making it a flat front plate? Just curious.
