Default F6 product announcement and owner's manual

The commercial version of the F6 is being made available to address demand.

FIRST WATT F5

For reasons discussed in the owner's manual, it is a bit different than the
one presented at BAF 2012.

........ This of course led me back toward a device more like a Pentode than the R100,
of which the IRFP240 is a fine example. Putting that device in this topology
resulted in better sound, so it stayed...........

Does this mean, that IRFP should sound better in the old F6 topology, or only in this new enhanced one? Nelson, I remember you were saying that other people proffered MOSFETs over SSs, what about you?

All the best with the new amp, Mr. Pass. Will you be sending a sample of the production F6 to 6moons for review?

Can I add that it's interesting that the production F6 can do 25w into 8 Ohm and the DIY F6 can do 30w into 8 Ohms.

Among many things that really entertains me here , is that Papa has always managed to surprise us...even when we thought that there's nothing new in some area...he proved us wrong

Why? Well, the details..the devil is always in the details..muahahahahaaa

Oh, once again, Thanks Nelson!
