thank you !, 50c ,slightly hot due to the mix mash obviously but the backs were all polished and blocked flat , surprisingly low thermal resistance i thought it would be worse, cuz of fin density , stock bias.

It looks interesting , no doubt

however - having some air circulation through box is mandatory , same as arrangement where fins aren't blocked from below and above

take care of openings in bottom and top plates

same for area of plates below and above of fins

if nothing else , make sort of Babysitter* pedestals , with strategically positioned vents

* look for mine Babysitter at Forum

thank you 6L6!

Zen i had a look at the "babysitters" and they are quite a good idea , it is difficult to punch holes in the black ceramic tile , but the back panel is acrylic and i can easily vent it.

if you have enough material for second set of fronts , you can make taller ones , then put some spacers between bottom and top plate and rest of chassis

say that 5mm spacers will give you enough airflow (5mm slit around circumference ) , in which case you need at least 10mm taller fronts

i just may have enough material for a second set of fronts , that is an excellent idea.

like majority of mine ideas

though , minority of them is significant enough to diminish previous ones
