Hi
I just want to be sure about how much voltage I need in the F5 entrance for achieve max power to the speaker:
My PS produce +-30vdc, the F5 is 15db amplification so the amplification factor is 10^15/20=5.6.
Now if I want for example 25v on the speaker I need in the entrance Vin=25/5.6=4.5v.
if my DAC (audio source) produce 0.3v I need preamp with amplification factor of 4.5/0.3=15
Something like 20db
Please if I have some mistake or if I doing here something wrong tell me.
thanks

my DAC based on PCM2707:

"DAC outputs through the headphone amplifier VOUTL and VOUTR can provide 12 mW at 32 Ω, as well as 1.8 VPP into a 10-kΩ load."
don't tell me that i don't need preamp !! i just order one
