some postings back I wrote….

"There is one SJ28 KF instead of KE but it is not outside…….
As far as I remember the KE and KF was a pinch Off voltage and this marking seems not very important for the matching of Iron AmP or the SONY AmP….."

i wrote this because the one KF I had was embedded in the KE lines…

But the SK82 KD I used for Mikes L´Amp clearly needs lower gate voltage for the same drain current….

So the classes are important, sorry…only the one KF seems not to behave correct….

in the picture the two left curves are the KD….!

There is a good supply, but don't wait for too many years.

:)
The SITs are very robust devices. So you dont need tooo much storage but
one or two pairs for reserve isnt a bad choice.
Mr. Pass I hope that in future we will have the opportunity for buying the new SIT-1.
I am very curious how it would perform in my hybrid parafeed. Your SIT has much higher gain and little higher drain resistance, which would lower the parafeed capacitor. I could use it right away in my circuit.:D Now the question, should I dream...

" Dear Sir,
I should have around 1.8k pcs for 2sk82 ke-33 and 800pcs for 2sj28.
If the ke-33 ranking is able to match the kf-33.
I do have around 1.5k for 2sj28 kf-33.
Some other customers may have interest
to get a few more hundreds pieces for their project.

Hi Guys
This is a e-mail from Acronmanelectronics
generaly i can say he have hundreds
of them with 2SK82 KD-33 range too.

But attention !?

100 pcs??? for a project... Maybe a group buy:confused:
But I wont take it serious. I think there is no need to buy a huge
stock. Since the SITs are very reliable and very well made. The sony
amplifiers around from 70-80 are still in use, the main problem of failure are the diodes, so SITs -2sk60-82 work for 20-30 years if proparly used!!!
No rush guys and the sound of SITs is different that classic tube SET,
so people who like this should stay on tubes!
I my self missed the solid state punch on tubes, so this I have now!

Anyway many hundreds of them be available !
I have buy 2 pairs and its for me a full joy.
Pay 4 transformers , big heat sinks and complete psu's
with quality components its affordable and very interesting build
but not cheap in my humble opinion and some aspects its priceless
that i like diy:D

Vish all gentlemen's find what they need too.

Compensated Ironamp?

Temptation to build a SIT ironamp is high.

However, apart from the semiconductors it is an entirely new amp compared to one of the known L'amp versions and it requires major investment. Do we really need to go the whole nine yards to experience SIT with transformer output*?

After rereading the articles in «*L*'Audiophile*»concerning the NEMESIS amplifier, i came across the «*Compensated Nemesis*». Also rereading the blog from 2005 «*DC compensated SE output transformer*» i thought i would share what i came across, since not all of you may be fluent in French.

The result is that we may be able to do an ironamp without buying a SE output transformer.
Those who allready have a L'amp version could use their power supplies.
Those who have built the inductor version of the L'amp might be able to put their chokes to good use.
Those who have spare heat sinks can do a CCS version.

In «*L'Audiophile*» Pierre Johannet presented the «*Compensated Nemesis*». It uses a gapless output transformer (actually a mains transformer) with flux compensation (CCS version). (translation of the article attached)

In the blog «*DC compensated SE output transformers*» entry #122, plovati posted a proposal for a version with a choke. (cf. Attachment)

I prefer the inductor version over the CCS but care must be taken to guarantee more or less equal currents in the windings...

Best regards
