ACA Build Question

Hello i would like to get, a how to opinion, on how to secure the Led to the
pre drilled face plate , i extened the LED hook up wire from the PCB to the back
side of the face plate. its pre drilled hole is larger than the LED and no way of
securing the LED. Any help would be considered so i can attach it.

either melted plastic (hot glue , whatever) or 2- component glue or atomic bomb

Thanks, that's what i was thinking hot glue, i was looking i guess for a
solution like a gromet of some sort, i think i will use the hot glue.

These clips WalterW found work well and are very tidy. Although if you already have hot glue, then there's no shipping charge.

I used an additional solid core wire attatched to the PCBs mount to position the LED. On other projects, I have used bluetac with great success.

Clear silicone caulk in a tube......and you'll have enough left over, to fix any leaks around your bathtub rim, too.........

If you go with this option, just use a low-yield device, and watch out for secondary meson radiation. Best not to wear a good watch, if you "nuke" it.....
