Thanks, I forgot to mention that - comparatively, this is one of the quietest preamps around. Even with more than 20dB gain I couldn't detect any trace of noise on my 94dB/W/m speakers.

Hello Juma,what if its PSU was not regulated or clean?

What about this as an option for SE input into dual LSK's for balanced out.

Yeah, I got a "different" version already in the works, but didnt know if this was interesting. Transformers gives excellent DC isolation, allowing us to drop the cap. Told ya I was on a transformer kick

by different, do you mean different use of transformer.

no , I meant - make that dual LSK as integral (bridged , balanced , whatever you call it ) stage , having all virtues of bal to se and se to bal conversion , amongst other things

then you don't need xformer at all

No. I was thinking of the hum generg hears with his build of the SIT amp from BAF 2013;which does not use a regulated power supply.
