Default F5 - Mur3020 diodes - heatsinks needed

Hello,
Im just at the end of building a F5. Im actually wondering, if the MUR3020 diodes need to be supported by heatsinks. As they can take 30A, they shouldnt get warm. Is this right?
Thanks for advise,
Renton

30A and Vf ~ 1V equates to 30W of heat that must be dissipated.
Even 5A & Vf ~ 700mV equates to 3.5W and that raises the Tj and Tc. The current must be limited to suit the actual operating temperatures.

If you have no heatsink, the de-rated current will be MUCH lower than with a small heatsink fitted.
