Hi to all,
I'm building a 6 channel aleph p1.7.
Main PCBs / attenuators / power supply are almost ready (CAD designs) and now I'm working on the chassis and the microntroller management.
how big should be the heatsink for a 6 channel version?
I'm working on 7 faraday cages, 6 cages for preamplifiers and 1 cage for the microcontroller
each preamplifier cage will have 4 "rooms":
- toroidal transformer
- power supply
- attenuator board / gain selection (relays based)
- preamplifier
each cage is vertical mounted made of aluminium (5mm minimum) and attached each other. the cage is made from a machined aluminium brick
I plan to manage input selection elsewhere
sourcing of the parts is 95% complete
what do you think?
thanks,
xm
