Hi there!
I plan to build SOZ, but I found nowhere information aboit the input sensitivity of this amplifier. I already found the same topic in this forum, one year ago, but with no ansewer. Can somebody help me answering what is the input voltage for full power ot the 30W SOZ? Thank you in advance! |

As far as i can tell:
The SOZ with a 8 ohm speaker has a gain of about 14,5dB (5,33x). Given a differential input signal of 3,37V, it should produce 30W (in a 8ohm speaker, if given enough current). Hope this helps/is correct.

As far as I know you need a mini-amplifier to
drive the the thing, not your usual pre-amplifier. Something capable of 5V rms into 600 ohms. |
