The F5C board is not readily available, (currently) you might find some on swap meet...

An F4 would be completely awesome, and with your preamp you would have plenty of gain.

Although that seems logical, it's more because the F5C was an attempt to make more power, while using the basic F5 design.

Nelson has since come out with the F5Turbo, for people who want more power.

That said, the F5C and the first version F5T are very, very similar.

TeaBag may be running another GB on his F5t Convertible board and the F5t boards should be available in the store shortly as they are with the a few folks that are testing them now.
I am planning on using a TeaBag board for my F5 turbo V2.

Not that I am giving up on the F5, but if I was to build the F4 would I want to build two, that are balanced for more wattage on the bass bins. I just started looking and reading the f4 threads.

Regarding the pair of F4, that's an awesome way to have buckets of power and still a Pass design.

Remember that in order to get the big power with a pair of F4 you must drive it with a balanced preamp.

A tea-bag convertible F5T board will make a dual-output F5. Cool!

(And in case you haven't noticed yet, yes, you are completely spoiled for choice!! There are a million ways to skin this cat.)

I take it Tea-bag is the forum member putting the boards together, but what does it mean to be convertible.
