Taco said:do you have pictures? I am also in the proces of building one.
Strange! I replied when there were no pictures, the reply counter of the board was set at 4. Now I can see the hidden posts .
very nice work, the wiring is beautiful.
the only thing i would reccomend is a second transformer, it looks
like you have the room for it. And maybe bigger heatsinks for the
FETS on the power supply board... they tend to get quite hot.
oh, and blue LED's (sorry, it had to be said!)
i wish i had the know how to implement a volume control like that!
looks great thanks for sharing the pics

Hey Andy,
Cool layout and nice presentation.
If I am not mistaken, is that the relay input board from audiomania Pass Balanced line stage.
http://www.diymania.net/
I used the same design for my BOSOZ. It works very well!

use volume control by ALPS 5K Blue velvet
also i use relay board from www.diymania.net
and it works very well
i am connected input line directly and master volume used
alps 5k bluevelvet, just out-line
All FETS and resistor are very very hot..i can't touch more 3 second
BOSOZ SOUND IS REALLY REALLY EXELENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
Nice work!!
I use this relay Board too for the output selection, it's a good choice
Some pics:

bzls testing?
Andy:
I also finished my BZLS and have completed the boards. I blew the board once, because the wrong connection. Now, I have fixed the boards. I have my PSU output to +/-60V, but how do you test the main board w/o connecting the wire?
I use the multimeter to measure, the only problem is that Z1, Z2 in both channels have different resistance value (R ch is 3 times higher than L ch). Is this the right way to test it this way?
Can you post the details photos of all the boards (or zip it up for us to download)?
Thanks
Thomas

hi..tomchaoda
I was made 100% same pcb work to Pass diy project from
http://passdiy.com/pdf/balzenpre.pdf
this photo is first version line board.
after i replace some parts ( resistor , capacitor )
FETS and zener diode are same part
My PSU out put to +59 , -60V , but its no matter
i think Z1,Z2 zenor is just protect to input signal
so please check about some resistor and FETs
As a matter of fact i didin't know exactly...^_^
good luck tomchaoda
thanks
