there are still alot of semisouth sit transistors available in stock at various online vendors. Why isnt that considered to build F6?

Because... coincident with the intro of the F6 was the news that Semisouth will close their doors and discontinue production. The only stock available most of us knew about has already been depleted.
What various online vendors currently offer genuine SemiSouth devices for sale?
