Excellent point. We could use your input and experience in this thread. I'm trying to determine if going one transformer per channel is really the way to go and so far the opinions are for multiple tranformers.

My opinion on that from reading the specs on Nelson`s designs are that one transformer per channel is needed because of the current requirements as in any class A configuration.....to try and deliver enough current with one transformer is not practical, when you get into transformers of that magnitude they inherently are noisy and inrush current becomes a factor also.
