Does anyone else have an opinion on the one vs. multiple transformer debate?

My opinion on that from reading the specs on Nelson`s designs are that one transformer per channel is needed because of the current requirements as in any class A configuration.....to try and deliver enough current with one transformer is not practical, when you get into transformers of that magnitude they inherently are noisy and inrush current becomes a factor also.

Noted, but what is the electrical theory that corroborates this opinion? |

No offense but it's called common sense and it is quite widely spread.

If "common" were best there would be no need for this forum
