Default Why the Pass DIY Add?

I was looking through Stereophile magazine and got to the classifieds, and woah, there is an add:

PassDIY
Zen & Other DIY Projects
www.passdiy.com

(page 190 of oct 2003)

And that's it. My question is why is this ad there, is Nelson encouraging people to make their own stuff? Is this ad in every issue or just the Oct. issue?

Anyway, I think its a good idea to promote DIY and especially in this magazine.

Thanks Nelson!

A similar add is in AudioXpress. Maybe there is still a healthy margin in PCBs. Or maybe it is just spreading the good word

No harm in doing a little advertising to point newbies in the right direction

Default Marketing

I have read that Mick Jagger (of the Rolling Stones) is a top notch businessman. The singing is just a job or whatever you want to call it.

Nelson Pass is a genius in marketing. The designing is just .....
