I ordered some BHC Aerovox cans to replace the ones in my
Forte 1a. I ordered June 7, waited and waited, still no caps. Talked to customer service, they said the caps could not be located and they would have to reorder. Still waiting for caps. I know they have to come from England, but this is ridiculous. |

i have to agree with fpitas, i think they are geared more for P.O.'s but, i have ordered 90% of my stuff from them.
small, and large orders, both have come fast. longest ive waited was a month for a out of stock part. allthough slow, i like the search function on newarks site the best.

I have ordered alot from all 3 and have had very little trouble with any, I however do not make it a habit to order parts known not to be in stock.
I would cancel my order and order from some one that has stock. Ask some of our European brothers if any one has some to spare. just an observation, Regards, El

Newark site is often not accurate enough for the available quantity and often the parts are B/O and require multiple deliveries...
Also, the parts are individually over packed where the box sent is huge but contains only a few resistors and transistors... this is not really green... Mouser is my preferred one now even though there is 20$ fixed delivery fee... Fab |
