My problem is solved!
It was a simple, stupid failure. I connected my pre's signal to F6's ground.
Stupid me!
Now everything seems to be fine. There is a lot of bass and enough gain for my speakers!

That is the way I did often my distortion measurement.....
ZM has been nagging me for information on the F6. I have a very nice
sounding prototype, but the design and the article that accompanies it
have some details remaining.
