Sonido cost a small fortune to get here.. Killed that idea. I was going to try something cheaper before taking big plunge into GPA. Big VAS kills TL thought, i think. Oops. Wrong thread again.

I will try the AN 15 and then this TL/ horn combo. I only got started on horn thing because of Lynn's comments about tone. Being from a geetar family, I am a sucker for tone....among other things. Lowther is hard for me to pull the trigger on.

Just got home Internet back. That was sobering experience. Scary withdrawal.

If you want TONE, then the alnico thing is good for that - and copper voice coils a further jump in that direction on the Lowther. I have a alnico Fostex tweeter that's got a 'tone' I can't explain. Better than standard magnets.
