Default IRF710 in BOZ, BOSOZ, etc?

I am just wondering why the IRF610 is suggested instead of the IRF710 in these circuits. It looks like the 710 offers slightly better transconductance and slightly lower self capacitance, which could impact the sound.

Are there any other "better sounding" substitutes for the 610's in these circuits?

Thanks!

Would you kindly elaborate on your experience of the sonic characteristic of each group?

little darker or little brighter

darker ones are ones with more capacitances

nothing to write home about , really

overkill PSU is of much greater importance

let's just say that proper shunt reg is my choice , in this case one without too much inherent gain (so feedback) .....
