Hello,
Firstly, thank you to Nelson Pass for his kindness and his pleasure to share his expertise with DIYers.
With various publications on the BA3-BBA3 Burning Amp amplifiers, I built my version of BBA3.
It is an adaptation of the front end of the BA3-BBA3 and the output stage is that of BA1 ,with by channel, 20 MOSFET, single-ended Class A output follower stage, biased by a constant current source.
The front end is connected to Jung PSU (+/- 30V).
With its bias of 5.3 A at + / - 32V, power is 50 watts into 8 and 4 ohms and 25 watts into 2 ohms.
I use an RCA / XLR adapter for the SE connection combined with a switch ( gain of 20dB with RCA or XLR inputs).
Regards
Darry
