My Forte 1A fails the five second rule

Anyone care to share what their Forte 1A rails measure? If I set the bias across the 0.47 Ohm emitter resistors to 120mV my 1A's heat sinks run hotter than 50°--failing the 5 second rule. I am currently running ~80mV to get down to ~50°. Of course the ambient temperature this time of year between Sacramento and Reno approaches 50°

Anyone ever try replacing r8 with a resistor plus a pot to implement a crude dc balance?

I think I have mine running 80mV or 100mV... Can't remember for sure. Definitely gets warm, though.
