After too much work I managed to finally finish the restoration of my old aleph 3. The restoration process icluded the redesign of the chassis so that to accomodate vertical oriented heatsinks and also the upgrade from aleph3 to aleph30. Toroid is 680W, loaded to +/-27,5VDC, bias is 1,5A and current source is adjusted to give symmetrical clipping. Also included is a soft start circuit and a speaker protection circuit. All pcbs are designed by me and all resistors are dale RN60D. The sound is the familiar aleph sound with liquid mid and treble(a bit more nice than reality) and bass is fast and just a hint uncontrolled but very nice to the ear at least when matted with my Tannoy HPD385 monitors. Offset is 3mV on left and 5mV or right channel.
