Thanks for everyones encouragement and advice. Makes me feel a little better about getting into this project. I was expecting at least one person to jump on me for tackling a project like this without electronics experience. Time to start collecting parts I guess!

Don't limit yourself to integral Aleph numbers. Decide what wattage you want, Figure the voltage and current and build it. It's a totaly scaleable project. My next one is going to be a set of headphone amps.
