and the pots. i guess the adjustment screw is over the square pad?
you can mark that with a little sircle
and ** on C2 on outputboards

I think that's correct
You can make sure that it's right when you measure across the test points.
That's what prototypes are for.
If it's the other way round I'll swap the square pads on the next run.

Does the PSU board accept 35mm caps or only 30? Because then there are more options.

I believe UKToeCutter made the PS board so it can accept 35mm caps (someone correct me if I am wrong). If you are looking at a 63V capacitor, I'd go with this personally:

Panasonic TS-HA 63V/10,000uF

Folks:

I was considering using this cap in two of UKToecutter's power supply boards for the F5T I hope to build:

381LX153M063A062 Cornell Dubilier Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors - Snap In

Being a newbiw, I gotta ask: are there reasons, aside from cost, to avoid this capacitor? I've happily used Panasonic TS-HA caps in the past, but they don't offer 15ku/63v options, and I thought 240ku of capacitance per channel was a good goal.

All advice appreciated.

what rail voltages are you guys planning on running?
since you go for 63V caps. and not 35-50V.

Also rated at 105c and seems to have better ripple current handling. However it costs $3 more. Do you think it's worth it?

I'd probably stick with the Panasonic. For the extra $3, I don't think you are getting much more with the Nichicon. Either one should work well though.

thats more then i payed for all my caps for the F5 v3

I think the larger of the cap positions is a 30mm snap in.
