As Patrick said - there is more than one way to skin a cat. As I reiterated
in the Turbo, more current is better as long as you can take the dissipation.

At the same time, I respond to people who complain that 25 watts or
whatever is not enough.

"there is more than one way to skin a cat."

Well, Papa do not say that if you do not want me to be disappointed in you.
You know, the picture on which you and your cat, I like most.

The IRFP240 and IRFP9140 pair can be used in the amplifier, right?

Gyuri

signal level is too high for ground plane to make any difference if layout is good.

Graund plane...

If you can put one on it why not but not rely needed immunity to ambient noise is realy good.

I did not as for home brew it complicate things in my case. (I can be realy dangerous whit paint brush or other precision things such as lining up wall paper)

And if you buy board stay away from farnell old stuff with baad photoresist in a couple of batches to many

Uktoecutter, Baksabath

Ground plane 2

NP does not use ground plane, nor do the majority of really good amplifier designers for the simple reason that they are not needed.

A good layout does not need it, no need to complicate things ~

We are just working on power stage not low level signal input stage ( preamplifier )

'course not.

If you feel like it...by all means.

But me thinks not many will follow you ....just my 2 cents.

I'm just referencing Papa layouts...all good no ?

You want me to make one ? don't want to confuse things but will cooperate with current effort.
