Nice 6L6.

What did you use for the TT ground post? Where did you get it?

Sorry, the post was obtained at a surplus store, rummaging around a bin of odd posts.

At this time I would honestly suggest a 6-32 screw, mounted on the inside, a normal nut with lock washer to secure it to the chassis, and a metal wingnut or knurled nut (if you can find one)

Or you could spend a bunch on a Cardas ground post, they are really nice.

At another's suggestion, I ordered this one from Digikey. Inexpensive and seems adequate:

It looks almost identical to yours, 6L6.

One more batch of caps on the way, then I must get the rest of the resistors and the 2 cases and I should have mine up and running at long last!

Got all the parts and two chassis and will continue building today since I have the day off.

Rest of caps delivered today and soldered in. Now for the rest of the resistors and the cases! Along with the resistors I will also order the regulator heatsinks, power supply DC jack and plug, (likely same ones that 6L6 used), the plug/fuse assembly along with an electrical cord.

Its getting close!

Well soon didn't happen but I am building the cases for RusselC. I'll be sending you some pics in the coming days. Sorry about the delay, life is getting in my way.

Westend, take your time, no hurry. It will get done in good time. I am collecting finishing parts for F-5 #2, no current limiting, Caddock resistors, 220 ohm feedback resistors, with single 500VA transformer and single power supply this time. Also just bought into the F-5 Turbo V-2 group buy. Plenty of projects to go. (Not to mention Aleph boards, Aleph J boards, BA-3 boards mostly stuffed, on and on it goes! Crap, I've still got stuffed Hypnotize and Mesmorize boards waiting...)
