I was misleaded by Duncan PSU designer: two caps after one rectifier is an "illegal combination".

CRC psu has R value 1 ohm, how low R value can i put here?

You can put any lower value you like but current ripple filtering will be lower. Alternatively you can use double filtering chain using CRCRC setup instead.
Here is my version:

Anyone by-pass the output caps on the L'amp? Notice any sonic difference?

easy to try

send modulation to boomer through bypassed electrolytic , send modulation to squawker through (adequately) small solid cap

that one even can be part of xover
