Isnt better a slower rectifier whit bypass capacitors around??

Some think not you can also use "soft" "Fast" types like HEXFREDs

I'm working on a second SIT amp. Have the Hammond 193v chokes.
Just need to build a case.

My builds sound mostly fine, but look always very ugly....

So I could put them in only in "soundtube".....

mine always on , with 193V and cant decide between battery on gate or bypassed source resistor .. different flavor but can live with both
