Default Has anyone done an F5 with a 12 vdc power supply?

I want to be sure my amp is 2 wpc. Will 12 volts do that for me?

Well, I wouldn't go lower than 12 V; you might also think of lowering the bias current if you require your amp to dissipate less heat.

12V wouldn't be feasible for big HEXFETs used in standard F5 (parasitic capacitances play crazy at such a low Vds).
I did try the low-power version of F5 and the best way to do it (IMO) with +/-12V is to use two pairs of 2sk2013/2sj313 per channel (buzzforb and Zhou Fang have them for sale) as output devices, biased at 400mA per MOSFET.
I routinely omit protection circuit (Q5, Q6) but if you intend to keep it, R17-R20 should be recalculated (F5 manual explains how).

If I may ask, why do you want it to be exactly 2 watt output?
