even dumb ( you can stretch trice that , but never will reach Mighty ZM's Dumbness) ......... considering that some caps are in lower case

are we wasting time on trivial dilemmas ?

Pffff.

3-pole powercon for the amplifying top case means DC.
aka the 40 power devices in the bottom case are not part of the output stage.

Don't have to be, why the bath-duck would anyone need more than 72 power MOSFETs in an 150W output stage for.
=> Power rail regulation. (Xs = X-Supply)

And read two post down, 6162.

For the aluminum plates and wires, think Walmart/cash registers/volume flows

(lots to learn from peeping at knickers)

3-Pole has +/- and earth.
That's all the bottom case has.

(besides the main switch, mains entry socket, and 12v remote terminals)

nothing wrong with speakon range , with more contacts , especially when you have :

- exact pair of holes for da cable ,
-no slightest possibility that common Buying Snob can use Speakons for his spk palamars,
-need for just 4 hefty wires going up

The top case doesn't carry 115Vac.
(and who gives a .... about T).
