There is a formula somewhere in the forums to calculate ^proper value R 12 R 34 against nb of power resistors , value , nb of output resistors series etc.

Take the Aleph 4 schematic and see the current gain is set to 0.5

something like CCS current gain =

R value/nbR X 1000
---------------------------
R value/nbR X R 12

Current source against output series resistors

It is described in the patent
