Looks like a nice board, but why, other than looks, would you not use identical boards for both channels?

They are mirror images attached together so they can be built in pairs. Size is 5 x 4.5 inches. Picture is bigger than board. Just add gate and source resistors and MOSFETS. Three in a box for surround sound? May need x-overs for Bi amping?

Mike,
Nice work. Are they based on the original Mini-A schematic? Will you post a full size pdf of the trace side for those of us making our own pcb's. Just thought i'd ask. It's nice looking art work. ryan |

Based on the mini A, but added Zeners and a cap for the input current source. I still need to check the layout. The boards have not been ordered yet, maybe in a couple of weeks.

Is this one of your winter projects? O/T Someone I know recommended using the Jensen 4 pole caps early this week for power supply filtering. I looked around to source some. What I found was a shock. 49.00 each. There is a nice 10,000 ufd 40v that would be perfect for a Mini A. Looks good on paper. George |

Mike:
For me is too long distance between input ground and output ground. Small signal ground will flow through whole size of pcb and may interact with elements of the circuit. Best Regards

The whole top of the board is gound plane except for one trace. Another ground connection will be added for power.
