I've been looking at the ThermalTrak devices and some blogs by John Broskie (SRPP+ Part Two - bottom of the page).
The question comes to mind, is there a practical application of ThermalTrak (in Class A) for NP designs? The answer my be "no", I'm not advanced enough to tell. The concept of thermally compensated outputs seems appealing. |

They are, of course, bipolar. I haven't done any bipolar design lately, but
I expect that the Thermaltraks would be very good as output followers in a Class A circuit.

NYCOne,
I believe that Cordell has been referencing them in his book thread. He seems to love them. |
