I love the sound of this one and I'm a SET lover.
I now use the (modified) F4 and am really happy with it on my ESL's.

with a tube pre amp it might gaint a Tube like sound maybe, considering the fact that it has low distortion with a diffrent king of feedback.....but i might be wrong on with this assumtion.

Balanced amps cancel 2nd order harmonics which tubes are known for. Tubes are excellent for VAS so maybe tube front end with F4.
