f5 - shopping parts.

Hi,

I already have the chassis and heatsinks, need components and PCB boards. Tech-diy.com sells the components, diyAudio shop sells a pair of F-5 boards but not the power supply board. Meh. Is it possible to find a place where I can buy everything I need? If not, where can I buy the power supply PCB? I already have the caps, just need the PCB.

I know nothing about this amp, just started reading all the info today. F5 thread 1000 pages? Not going there. Just need a few good links.

the "first" time i read it was over almost 2 weeks . why ? because i wanted to learn everything i could about this amp as i planned , ordered and researched before i built .

I need all of them. LOL. Not comfortable building this as I only know how to build tube amps so I want a complete kit. To my knowledge only Tech-diy sells it. Thanks anyway. Read a lot of good comments about this amp. Hope it sounds better than the Musical fidelity F15 because I'm going to rip that amp apart to use the chassis for the F5.

Are you shure? Without reading the various threads, you'ld never realize how many people don't understand the Heat Sink requirements, and have good questions they will learn from.

Well, I ussualy like to have my boards and measure the component footprints and all to make sure they all fit without touching each other or being in a restricted air flow situation. Sometimes the leads won't even fit the holes for the components I'ld like to use.

I think I covered this in the first answer? How do you know the caps you have will fit the PCB you don't have?
